wouldn't reccomend
The nozzel doesn't stay on and when it comes off ot will burn you. The buttons are under your hand and you catch them when you hold the dryer

The cool shot on the Remington Shea Soft Hair Dryer, blows cold air, however this would vary on how quickly the air changes, depending on the heat setting you are using.

The supplier has advised the following for the Remington Shea Soft Hair Dryer:
The buttons are not with sliding action. They operate as normal buttons that, once set on the corresponding on or off position for the stand the user wishes to use the hair dryer on, they stay on that position until it is changed. The user does not have to keep pressing the button once it is set on the "stand/setting" they want to use it on.
