Ready to use in just 40 seconds, the Pod Machine's smart, compact design makes it a good choice for smaller kitchens and those that prefer less clutter. The product is light enough to be easily portable, it is compatible with Nespresso oriignal capsules, and Dualit's own range of coffee pods. Easy, one-touch brewing, and is programmed to dispense the optimal volume of barista style espresso and lungo coffee.
Dualit's Pod Machine is fast and easy to use. Simply insert a pod and press for an espresso or lungo - making delicious coffee couldn't be simpler! You don't need to learn specialist coffee making skills, as using coffee pods avoids the hassle and mess associated with traditional coffee makers.
The Pod Machine is programmed to dispense the optimal volume of barista style espresso (35ml) and lungo (70ml) for the best tasting coffee. However, if you have a favourite espresso cup or coffee mug that needs more, or you want the flexibility to choose at leisure, you have the option to set the volume you want.

Great Coffee Machine
Easy to use, an great results. If any criticism is the coffee could be a bit hotter. Would definitely recommend!

Compact and simple
Makes a good brew the only small gripe is sometimes the cup and pod tray creeps out with the vibration when it’s running.

Three weeks in: pretty good
Now had the pod machine for three weeks. Makes good coffee, pretty quiet (after first use), simple controls, solid build - though the used pod receptacle and drip tray is too lightweight (all plastic) which means that when emptied the vibration can push an espresso cup forward and spill your coffee. Less of an issue when a few empty pods weight it down, but it needs a redesign to weight it. Packaging was pretty sustainable: cardboard not horrid squeaky fossil-fuel polystyrene. Manual was well written, not too long and in a dozen languages.

good coffee
This was bought to replace my original Nespresso machine as it was compatible with the type of pods while being less expensive. It makes better coffee than the old machine did at the end of its life but there is one slight issue in that it seems to allow some coffee grounds through.

The Argos answer is clearly missing the point. If the Starbucks capsule is the type that compatible with the original Nespresso capsule format then yes - you could use it or any competing brand.
