Hello, from the information we have available, this Bush Hampton Dab+ Portable Radio can either be run from the built-in rechargeable battery (once charged), or via the mains when using a suitable USB-C Power Adaptor. The benefit of charger (and not the mains) is you can use the radio where there is no power supply. Thank you for using Bush Q&A.
