The Bush Hampton DAB Radio delivers crystal clear digital and FM radio to your kitchen or living room with a style that suits any home. Finished in gloss black with a full colour TFT display, it offers 20 preset stations for both DAB and FM, so your favourite shows are always a button press away. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery lets you move it from the worktop to the garden table without losing your place, and a USB Type-C charging cable is included. The dual alarm function makes it a handy bedside radio, and the sleep timer lets you drift off without worrying about switching it off.
Bluetooth lets you stream music or podcasts from your mobile when you fancy something different, and the headphone socket keeps things personal when you don't want to disturb anyone. The 2 watts RMS output is clear and room-filling for a compact unit, and RDS scrolling text shows station and track info. Auto-tune and auto-scan make setup simple, and the auto time update means you'll never need to fiddle with the clock. It fits neatly on a shelf or bedside table without hogging space. Good radio
This was easy to set up as it came with a paper instruction book. It all works well. My only criticism is that the alarm does not sound when I'm listening to it using earphones. As someone who uses the radio to get back to sleep at 4am this is a problem as I don't hear the alarm at 7am!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bush DAB/DAB+ FM Rechargeable Bluetooth Portable Radio-Black: ''The built-in li-ion battery is designed to provide reliable durable performance under normal use conditions. However, as with all li-ion batteries, they gradually loose capacity over time as part of normal charge/discharge cycling. Outside of the 12 month warranty, the built-in li-ion battery can be replaced at its end of life, however for safety reasons, we recommend the battery replacement process is only undertaken by a suitably qualified technician for example, through a reputable 3rd party repair specialist. ''

Our supplier has advised that the Bush DAB/DAB+ FM Rechargeable Bluetooth Portable Radio-Grey built-in rechargeable li-ion battery takes up to 3.5hrs to fully charge (reaches approximately 80% full charge after 2hrs).Ā Ā When operating on battery power, a fully recharged battery will provide up to 8hrs of listening time at 50% volume with Bluetooth-In mode off.Ā Ā Listening at higher volumes and/or with Bluetooth-In mode activated, will significantly increase battery consumption/reduce overall listening times.
