The Bush Hampton DAB Radio brings crystal clear digital and FM radio to your kitchen or living room without the hassle of constant plug-in power. With a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, you can move it from worktop to windowsill to catch strong reception, then charge it via the included USB Type-C cable when needed. The full colour TFT display shows station info, scrolling text, and the clock at a glance, and the dual alarm means you and your partner can set separate wake-up times for radio or tone.
Storing 20 presets each for DAB and FM makes switching stations effortless. Auto tune and scan find all available stations, and you can store favourites with a button press. Bluetooth lets you stream music or podcasts from your mobile, and the 2 watts RMS output is clear for a kitchen or bedroom. The headphone socket is handy for late-night listening without disturbing anyone, and the sleep timer lets you drift off to your favourite show. Husband requested new DAB rechargeable radio for allotment to keep up with sport & new. He is really impressed with this radio saying it was simple to set to preferred stations & battery life is impressive. For the price he gives it 5 stars. š

Good radio
This was easy to set up as it came with a paper instruction book. It all works well. My only criticism is that the alarm does not sound when I'm listening to it using earphones. As someone who uses the radio to get back to sleep at 4am this is a problem as I don't hear the alarm at 7am!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bush DAB/DAB+ FM Rechargeable Bluetooth Portable Radio-Black: ''The built-in li-ion battery is designed to provide reliable durable performance under normal use conditions. However, as with all li-ion batteries, they gradually loose capacity over time as part of normal charge/discharge cycling. Outside of the 12 month warranty, the built-in li-ion battery can be replaced at its end of life, however for safety reasons, we recommend the battery replacement process is only undertaken by a suitably qualified technician for example, through a reputable 3rd party repair specialist. ''

Our supplier has advised that the Bush DAB/DAB+ FM Rechargeable Bluetooth Portable Radio-Grey built-in rechargeable li-ion battery takes up to 3.5hrs to fully charge (reaches approximately 80% full charge after 2hrs).Ā Ā When operating on battery power, a fully recharged battery will provide up to 8hrs of listening time at 50% volume with Bluetooth-In mode off.Ā Ā Listening at higher volumes and/or with Bluetooth-In mode activated, will significantly increase battery consumption/reduce overall listening times.
