About this product
The Silentnight Middleton Collection provides a complete bed setup for sleep and storage. This superking set includes a grey fabric base with two storage drawers, a matching headboard, and the Middleton memory pocket mattress. The mattress combines a memory foam layer with a zoned Mirapocket support system. Pocket springs adjust to your body weight, distributing pressure evenly and supporting spinal alignment. The memory foam moulds to your body's contours for pressure relief. A quilted finish provides a smooth sleep surface with a medium to firm feel.
The base sits on plastic castors and holds two drawers, one on each side, for storing bedding or spare pillows. Each drawer measures twelve centimetres high, seventy-seven and a half wide, and thirty deep. The fabric headboard fixes to the base with included brackets. The mattress is single-sided, so rotate it head to toe regularly to even out wear. Eight hundred pocket springs work independently to reduce partner disturbance. The knit cover with quilted finish handles everyday use. Minimal assembly required, two people recommended. Five year manufacturer's guarantee included.
Ideal for sink-in snoozers, this memory foam mattress gently hugs you to sleep, moulding with the contours of your body for soothing pressure relief. Sink into a blissful night's sleep with the cocooning nature of memory foam which is responsive and pressure relieving, back aches and pains will soothe away. Topped with a quilted finish, perfect for sleepers who prefer a smoother sleep surface and medium to firm feel.
This mattress is single sided, so make sure you rotate from head to toe regularly to get the most out of your mattress. Complete with a supportive, matching grey and stylish headboard included.

Excellent
Had our new bed over 2 weeks now we didn't realise how much we needed this new bed until we got it, we are so happy with the comfort of this bed. a great support & good hight. Only problem is when the alarm clock goes off we don't want to get out. Would recommend this bed 100%. In fact we already ordered the same bed for my mother-in-law.

Faulty Base sent with bed
When opening out the silent night double bed one have of base is faulty. The stapels that are under the sheet of fabric on top of the bed are all sticking up, not been correctly stapeled. The drawer is faulty, big gap at side when closed, material at corner of drawer damaged and inside the drawer at one side warped and other side glued with gaps as a result when you clip both bases together there is a gap as one half is a reject. I have bought 4 of these exact beds in the past for all my rooms and never have i been sent one in this state. Can't believe it got past quality control. My daughter was without a bed for 3 weeks as we were decorating her room and this is her birthday present so we had no choice but to use it. Just hope the stapels don't damage the mattress through time. Paid the extra for 4 drawers aswell but can't use one. Would never buy another one. Not what you expect from a company SilentNight. Really disapointing

Comfy bed with headboard
The divan, headboard and mattress are great! I’ve ordered Silentnight beds before and the quality is great. However, on arrival one of the drawers was damaged, possibly in transit. Once I’d managed to get hold of someone from Argos customer services they did offer me an exchange for the entire divan.

Perfect bed
I bought a super kingsize bed and it was perfect so also bought a double. The delivery guys were fantastic too. On the double bed there was a hole in the headboard but a replacement was sent within 3 days. The mattress is med to firm but very very comfortable

Small double
My niece hasn’t slept in it yet. But it seems very comfy and great size small double as room is small. Can’t wait for her coming weekend she’ll love it.

Hello there,
The supplier has advised for the Silentnight Middleton Memory Pocket Small Double 4 Drawer Divan Bed - Sandstone: There are various colours to choose from in this set, there is a colour chart selection at the side of the product, so you need to click on the colour of your choice. The headboards and bases will then match.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello sarah,
No, adding drawers in Silentnight Memory Small Double 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Grey does not change the physical width of the bed base itself. The frame of a Small Double remains exactly 120 cm wide (4 feet).
Thank you for using Q&A.
I ordered this bed thinking I would receive the curved scalloped Merlin headboard, but received the Paris headboard instead - twice!! Argos cannot supply the curved headboard for the small double - incredibly misleading, and breaches the 2015 Consumer Rights Act
Hello Vix,

"The headboard that you receive with this set is the curved headboard."
