Just lovely
I bought these because I though they will look like a little sculptural piece on the dinning table and yet they have a function. Love things that are useful and are designed well, thanks argos! Good price I think too

Bold, stylish set
An attractive design, bigger than I expected. They look good in the centre of the table and left out on display in the kitchen. Only negative is the internal barrel size is a little narrow. For the pepper pot this means some larger whole peppercorns will not drop down into the barrel, around 5% of the pepper I was using. The barrel could do with being 1-2mm wider.
Peas on toast
Stylish, works well
Unusual to look at, fun but also works well after being easy to fill with rock salt and pepper.

Stylish wooden design
These look absolutely great on the table. They seem to work well with a fine-ish grind. Not sure how well the finish will last on the black one - already has signs of marks where the screw tightens at the top. fingers crossed that grind mechanism lasts well.

Thanks for using Q&A.
unscrew the square metal nut on the top, lift the top wooden section off, pour the pepper in the hole in the middle. Fill it not quite to the top. put the top back on & replace the screw.
