About this product
Inspired by modern Scandinavian design, our bedframe is crafted from solid wood with a beautiful warm walnut stained grain finish. We love the simplicity of the headboard, made from wood-turned spindles and the carved top and bottom bar, which are elegant but strong. Elevated from the floor, you even have room for a little underbed storage.
This solidly constructed base has sprung wooden slats for mattress aeration, support and comfort.

Perfect for a narrow space
This bed was perfect for my son’s bedroom which is narrow and only had a couple of cm each way of a double bed length and so we were struggling to find a frame that would fit in the space. My husband assembled, and it had to be assembled horizontal from its final position due to how the legs slotted together and needing more space, but we turned it so it was on its end (foot not head end of the bed), pivoted it into place, and between the two of us lowered it down slowly and it fit. Perfect for anyone struggling to fit a bed length ways into a narrow space.

Looks lovely but not very sturdy
Steer clear! Looks lovely, is easy to put together and main peripheral frame is nice and sturdy, but the middle section that holds the slats in place is flimsy and the slats are too narrow so they continually fall out of the holders which means the mattress needs to be removed so they can be refitted. I don’t know if this is due to bad design, habitat trying to save wood, or whether I just got a dodgy one, but the result is frustrating!!

Warped wood
Was initially very happy with the bed, felt sturdy, fairly easy to assemble, and great value Unfortunately, after around a month of having the bed, the wooden panel down one side has bent and warped. This means that the slats underneath the bed don't correctly fit into their holders, and frequently pop out on the side of the bed that's warped. Because of this, the mattress can partially drop and isn't even. I contacted customer support to see if I could get sent another side panel. Because I'd had the item over 30 days (around 6 weeks) I was offered to return it for another, however this is a bit of a pain as the king size won't fit out the bedroom now it's assembled, so it means disassembling for habitat to collect. Very disappointed because without the warping I'd be delighted with the bed

Great bed frame
I like the bed frame, it is stylish and looks great. Size is suitable for a double bed frame. However, when my item was delivered there was an item that was damaged in my home, I contacted Argos about this and heard nothing back.
