About this product
The Silentnight Memory Superking Half Ottoman Bed keeps your bedroom organised and your sleep comfortable. It's a complete set that includes a grey half ottoman base with lift-up storage, a Milan fabric headboard, and the Middleton memory pocket mattress. The mattress has a cocooning memory foam layer that moulds to your body, while a zoned Mirapocket spring system spreads your weight evenly and supports proper spinal alignment. The half ottoman base lifts from the end to reveal storage space underneath for bedding, spare pillows, or out-of-season clothes.
The mattress has a medium firm feel and a no-turn design, you just rotate it regularly to even out wear. Pocket springs work independently so you won't disturb a partner when you move during the night. The quilted knit cover adds a soft surface layer. The fabric headboard attaches securely with included fixings. Plastic castors let you move the base when needed. Minimal assembly required with two people recommended. Backed by a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee.
Ideal for sink-in snoozers, this memory foam mattress gently hugs you to sleep, moulding with the contours of your body for soothing pressure relief. Sink into a blissful night's sleep with the cocooning nature of memory foam which is responsive and pressure relieving, back aches and pains will soothe away. Topped with a quilted finish, perfect for sleepers who prefer a smoother sleep surface and medium to firm feel.
This mattress is single sided, so make sure you rotate from head to toe regularly to get the most out of your mattress. Complete with a supportive, matching grey and stylish headboard included.

Faulty Base sent with bed
When opening out the silent night double bed one have of base is faulty. The stapels that are under the sheet of fabric on top of the bed are all sticking up, not been correctly stapeled. The drawer is faulty, big gap at side when closed, material at corner of drawer damaged and inside the drawer at one side warped and other side glued with gaps as a result when you clip both bases together there is a gap as one half is a reject. I have bought 4 of these exact beds in the past for all my rooms and never have i been sent one in this state. Can't believe it got past quality control. My daughter was without a bed for 3 weeks as we were decorating her room and this is her birthday present so we had no choice but to use it. Just hope the stapels don't damage the mattress through time. Paid the extra for 4 drawers aswell but can't use one. Would never buy another one. Not what you expect from a company SilentNight. Really disapointing

Comfy bed with headboard
The divan, headboard and mattress are great! I’ve ordered Silentnight beds before and the quality is great. However, on arrival one of the drawers was damaged, possibly in transit. Once I’d managed to get hold of someone from Argos customer services they did offer me an exchange for the entire divan.

Perfect bed
I bought a super kingsize bed and it was perfect so also bought a double. The delivery guys were fantastic too. On the double bed there was a hole in the headboard but a replacement was sent within 3 days. The mattress is med to firm but very very comfortable

Great all round bed!
Very easy to order, quick and convenient delivery options, good price with deal, bought for 18 yr old son who has outgrown his double bed and it’s so much better. Looks great, secure assembly and good quality. This is actually the second one of these we have purchased having some years ago got the same one for our other son - both our kids are well over 6 foot. Both are very happy, find the beds comfy and fit them so much better! Assembly gets 4 stars but that’s only to do with the plastic clips that hold the two bases together as they are super tight and not sure I’d have been able to push them on without my husband. It does however mean the bases are really secure once they are in place so it’s actually a good thing…but I personally just wasn’t strong enough!! Over all would recommend this bed.

Hello Lisa,
The total length of the Silentnight Middleton Double Divan Bed remains exactly 190 cm, even when the headboard is attached.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello there,
The supplier has advised for the Silentnight Middleton Memory Pocket Small Double 4 Drawer Divan Bed - Sandstone: There are various colours to choose from in this set, there is a colour chart selection at the side of the product, so you need to click on the colour of your choice. The headboards and bases will then match.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello sarah,
No, adding drawers in Silentnight Memory Small Double 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Grey does not change the physical width of the bed base itself. The frame of a Small Double remains exactly 120 cm wide (4 feet).

I ordered this bed thinking I would receive the curved scalloped Merlin headboard, but received the Paris headboard instead - twice!! Argos cannot supply the curved headboard for the small double - incredibly misleading, and breaches the 2015 Consumer Rights Act

"The headboard that you receive with this set is the curved headboard."
