The Silentnight Memory Double Half Ottoman Bed provides a complete bedroom solution with built-in storage to keep spare bedding, pillows and seasonal clothing out of sight. Part of the Middleton Collection, it combines a charcoal fabric half ottoman base, Milan headboard, and Middleton memory pocket mattress. The ottoman base opens from the end, letting you access hidden storage without moving furniture. The mattress features a memory foam layer over a zoned Mirapocket support system that evenly distributes weight and keeps your spine aligned throughout the night.
The mattress has a medium firm feel with pocket springs that respond independently, so you won't feel your partner moving around. It's a no-turn design, you just rotate it regularly to keep wear even. The knit cover has a quilted finish that feels soft and stays secure. The charcoal fabric base sits on plastic castors, so you can reposition it if needed. The Milan headboard attaches with included fixings and adds a finishing touch. Minimal assembly required with two people recommended. Manufacturer's five year guarantee included.

Great all round bed!
Very easy to order, quick and convenient delivery options, good price with deal, bought for 18 yr old son who has outgrown his double bed and it’s so much better. Looks great, secure assembly and good quality. This is actually the second one of these we have purchased having some years ago got the same one for our other son - both our kids are well over 6 foot. Both are very happy, find the beds comfy and fit them so much better! Assembly gets 4 stars but that’s only to do with the plastic clips that hold the two bases together as they are super tight and not sure I’d have been able to push them on without my husband. It does however mean the bases are really secure once they are in place so it’s actually a good thing…but I personally just wasn’t strong enough!! Over all would recommend this bed.

Worth spending a little more.
Absolutely worth spending a little more on a premium mattress that offers maximum comfort that has no pressure areas when sleeping sideways. The 4 drawers offer plenty of storage and glide smoothly. Very comfortable!

The headboard can be adjusted to the height of the mattress, as it needs to sit on top of the mattress.
The minimum height would depend on the depth of the mattress.
