It can be done with one person but it's a bit fiddly and the instructions aren't that much use. The hidges aren't up to being opened and closed each day and the sticky pads came off after the first day. With the futon in place it's almost impossible to close and the futon itself is uncomfortable, you can feel the metal beneath.

Bed not sturdy, had to get it replaced for another one, it says it can withstand 2 people, the 1st frame buckled under the weight

Useful sofa bed
Very pleased with this sofa bed. Straightforward to put together. The sofa is low but comfortable. The guest bed unfolds easily, i got a topper based on other reviews so should be very comfortable to sleep on, need to wait for a guest comment.

Delivered by 2 lovely chaps very helpful and on time Decided to try building it myself ( mid 60s with minimal experience) and although it took about 2 hours I succeeded Very impressed by build quality and instructions the sofa and bed are very well made and good value for money. Have purchased mattress topper for added comfort Highly recommend and very pleased with decision to buy from Argos after a long trawl through other options on line

Looks good!
Easy to put together, but definitely need two people! It looks good and is comfortable to sit on. Not slept on it, because it’s a spare bed, so the next person/couple to stay over, will have the pleasure of trying it out.

Decent sturdy sofa bad
Very happy with the bed, it took two of us around a hour or so to put together, we encountered a problem where one of the holes was not drilled all the way through the bed, so we had to improvise and drill our own hole to finish set up, that all worked out OK in the end but very annoying nonethe less

These are too low for me needs a little bit higher. I'm not very keen on the covers, because I feel the bars after a week of using them.
