The Argos Home Mexico Futon Sofa Bed gives you flexible seating and a guest bed without taking up the space a full-time double bed would need. It converts from a two-seater sofa into a double sleeping surface, so you can use it as everyday seating in a study or spare room, then fold it out when friends or family stay over. The grey fabric mattress has fibre filling that provides comfort for sitting and sleeping. A sleek metal frame keeps everything stable and supports up to 100kg per person.
The mattress lifts off for cleaning and sits on a frame that folds flat into bed position. The sleeping area measures 147.5cm wide by 195cm long, giving two people room to stretch out. Neutral grey fabric fits with most room schemes without clashing. Suitable for occasional use rather than nightly sleeping. Two people needed for assembly, all fixings and instructions included. Covered by a manufacturer's one year guarantee.

Does what it says on the tin
Bought the 2 seater futon to replace a double bed to make more room. Quality is good and does the job. The only slight negative is the mattress/cushion could do with being a bit thicker.

Needs attention to detail !
Bought this as a I needed a decent sofa bed on a budget . The frame is silver even if you order either colour upholstery, would have been nice to get the frame in black though . The mattress is quite heavy to manoeuvre around the frame . Ideally needs some grab handles on the sides , also some ties to hold the mattress in place when used as a sofa the mattress does slip down the frame because no ties .if these were to be put in place it would finish it off nicely . Comfort wise you definitely need some extra padding for sleeping . I ended up buying two deep mattress toppers to make it comfortable enough to sleep on ( the mattress isn’t as thick as it looks in picture ) Some may find it comfortable enough with one but it definitely needs extra padding . It’s comfy to sit on as a sofa and it’s sturdy . It changes from bed to sofa easily once you have the hang of it and one person can do this . It was easy enough to put together but does need two people . Overall it’s a pretty good buy for the price and if the future products have ties and handles attached all the better ( I did make my own ties in the end as I was fed up of the mattress slipping )

Double size strong futon
I bought this to use in our spare room, when grandchildren stay over. It looked strong, sturdy and quite smart in the pictures and did not disappoint. Easy to put together, according to hubby, and with thick mattress/seat pad should be quite comfortable for occasional use. Has yet to be slept on, but takes up less space than a bed and has dual uses, bed/seat. Fair price paid, and delivery was as expected.

Good for the price paid
Bought this for when the grandkids stay. It was easy to assemble all parts are clearly labelled so no guesswork required. It easily transforms from sofa to bed with minimal effort and feels robust. As per some of the other reviews we have added a mattress topper for added comfort, I think this would be required more if being used by adults. The one real negative is the cushion needs ties to keep it in place as it tends to slide down when being used as a sofa. All in all I think its good value but the longevity is still to be tested.

I would honestly say no not really as you need someone to hold one end while someone puts the bolts in etc , the mattress isnt as thick as it looks in the feature either so best buy a topper too
