I bought this recently except neither myself or my son can fit it. I know someone who works at the Argos where I purchased, and I know she has this very chair and assured me it was easy to fit, so I’m actually going to seek her out as she’s really lovely and I know she’ll help if I ask. We simply cannot budge the straps that fit over the child, so we can’t get my granddaughter strapped in. Maybe there is a fault and not us being a bit lacking in the cognitive dept haha. Apart from that it’s a great sit and I love the addition of the cup holder. I don’t want to be negative, just simply giving honest feedback as best I can with our experience

Poor to install - I won’t use
I have bought several car seats from Argos before, from different manufacturers including Joie and have been very happy. However, I cannot get this seat to install properly in the vehicle when using the built in harness for younger children. There is a lot of movement in the child seat on the car seat, to the point where I felt it wasn’t safe to use. Inside the bit of the seat where the car seat belt fits, there is a sharp edge and a screw head that sits slightly proud. I think it wouldn’t pose a problem to a child in the seat, but might damage the car seat belt over time. There is normally a lip the locates the cars seat belt in place, but there isn’t one in this child seat meaning that the cars seat belt can slide around making it hard to locate it solidly on the cars seat. I think it would probably work fine as purely a booster cushion. I would not recommend this seat for younger children who still need to use the 3 point harness.
