The LG FWY385WWLN1 washer dryer combines washing and drying in a space-saving appliance, handling 8kg in wash-only mode or 5kg when washing and drying together. This compact Counter-Depth MAX design measures H85 x W60 x D47.5cm, fitting into reduced spaces without protruding from worktops. The AI Direct Drive system delivers efficient fabric care across cottons, delicates, synthetics and sensitive fabrics with a 1200rpm spin speed. With an A energy rating for washing and E for combined cycles, this plug-in machine consumes 42kWh per 100 wash cycles or 326kWh per 100 wash and dry cycles.
The machine offers 12 washing programmes including Cotton, Delicates, Economy, Mixed Load, and a 14-minute quick wash, plus 10 drying programmes with sensor technology and 3 dryness levels. TurboWash cleans a 5kg load in 39 minutes, while Steam reduces allergens by up to 99.99%. The LED display and dial controls simplify programme selection, with a 19-hour delayed start and time remaining indicator. Operating at 71dB with an A noise class, it weighs 65kg and includes variable temperature and spin settings, child lock, and pause for easy use.

Compared to our previous LG, the plastics and controls look/feel cheaper, but I cannot comment more about what's inside, so far so good, performs as expected. The process to register for a 5-year warranty is not straight forward, and by default you end up with a 2-year warranty and have to follow an additional process to get the extended one (that I got).

You would not be able to do this on any of our machines due to the temperature of the clothes etc.

"There is a low temperature drying option available on the machine."
It’s suitable for drying in low temperature for less clothes damage and is for delicate fabrics (Max. Load: 3.5 kg).
We’d have to also add that you should check that your mattress protector is suitable for drying in a machine before trying to do so.

I have had a look into this and with the specification in the manual for this model the depth of the unit is 475mm, it then is 535mm with the door closed and 1015mm with the door open.
I will ask for the website to be updated to show this.
