The LG FWY385WWLN1 is a Counter-Depth MAX washer dryer designed to wash and dry your laundry in one appliance whilst fitting seamlessly into reduced spaces. This corded machine handles cottons, delicates, synthetics and sensitive fabrics with an 8kg washing capacity and 5kg drying capacity, making it ideal for everyday loads. With a 1200rpm spin speed and A energy rating for washing cycles, it delivers efficient performance alongside LG's AI Direct Drive system for enhanced fabric care.
The FWY385WWLN1 features TurboWash technology completing a 5kg wash in 39 minutes, while Steam technology reduces allergens by up to 99.99%. The LED display and dial control simplify programme selection, with 12 washing programmes including a 14-minute quick wash, mixed load, and economy options, plus 10 drying programmes with sensor dry and 3 dryness levels. The delayed start lets you set the machine up to 19 hours ahead, and the child lock adds safety. At H85cm W60cm D47.5cm and 65kg, this white washer dryer operates at 71dB and includes variable spin speed and temperature settings.

Everything's Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My LG washer dryer was delivered promptly and has been working very well so far, it's super quiet compared to the previous machine and seems to be reasonably quick too. I selected it mainly for the narrow depth to fit in my worktop (as the nearby dishwasher opens at a right angle, I can't afford for the washing machine to stick out) and in that respect it was a perfect choice. The only niggles are that it doesn't display the temperature for a selected programme unless you specifically change it, and also there isn't a quick "rinse out fluff" option for when you've dried something that may have shed some fluffy bits. I'm getting used to it though, and quite impressed so far.

This is such a good upgrade in our life, from a basic indesit washing machine to this fancy one. I also like that the door opens almost right after the cycle finishes, not taking forever like the previous one. This was my best money spent this year!

You would not be able to do this on any of our machines due to the temperature of the clothes etc.

"There is a low temperature drying option available on the machine."
It’s suitable for drying in low temperature for less clothes damage and is for delicate fabrics (Max. Load: 3.5 kg).
We’d have to also add that you should check that your mattress protector is suitable for drying in a machine before trying to do so.

I have had a look into this and with the specification in the manual for this model the depth of the unit is 475mm, it then is 535mm with the door closed and 1015mm with the door open.
I will ask for the website to be updated to show this.
