amazing fan!
I bought this at the beginning of the heatwave, and definitely don't regret it! The amount of settings it has is very good; varied but not overcomplicated. I like that you are able to lock it, as personally I don't enjoy the rotation if I am trying to sleep. The fan is also very quiet on its lowest setting, while still being powerful enough to cool you down while you sleep.

This is a very good quality and smart looking fan however, the fan speed settings only go upto 3... On most days it's fine but not enough during heatwave.

Nice fan, could be quieter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice fan, I like that it rotates and has a timer so you can put it on for 1, 2 or 4 hours. It could be a little quieter and I have found that it ‘clonks’ once each rotation, which has disturbed me going to sleep but not a problem once I am asleep. The clonk was audible with air pods pro in with noise cancelling activated.

Excellent, powerful yet quiet fan
Bought this for the hot nights. It makes a difference as soon as one turns the fan on, even in the weakest setting. The different power settings are useful, as is the timer and remote control. Highly recommended. We have two now.

Great Fan
Had fan now approx 1 month , quiet and powerful even on the lowest setting, much better then a normal desk fan, only negative no instructions in box but easy to find them on Google

It also boasts several functions and speeds including eco and night time mode. The airflow is fantastic, feels very powerful but it’s quite quiet at the same time. It can oscillate from side to side to cover a wide area. It seems to have a fantastic build quality, very sturdy and is lightweight so can be very portable. A great addition for the summer months or that time of life for ladies!

I can advise the following on the Philips Series 5000 CX5535/11 Tower Fan:
In order to add aromatherapy oils to this fan, you need to unplug and disconnect it from mains power, then pull out the 'aroma box' from the front of the box and put 2-3 drops of the oil on the aroma pad. Then you put the box back into its slot and use the fan as normal.

On checking the manual details for Cleaning and maintenance are below:
Note:
• Always unplug the appliance before you clean it.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Never use abrasive, aggressive, or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or
alcohol to clean any part of the appliance.
Regularly clean the outside of the Tower Fan to prevent dust from collecting.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to clean both the exterior of the appliance and the air
outlet.
