I bought this for ease of use for my 94 year old mother. This radio is a great size and as there are not many buttons to press my mother can turn it on and off easily as he has sight difficulties.Love it great buy

Compact DAB+ radio at a reasonable price!
Very pleased with this DAB+ radio, although its at the budget end of the Roberts range it works well, reading reviews prior to purchase its aimed at the portable market although not tried batteries and it uses a usb phone charger via the supplied cable.Simple to use, compact and its a DAB+, note there are a number DAB radios on the website make sure you check the details as not all are DAB/DAB+ and if DAB only you are restricted to limited channels as a number are now DAB+. As it is a small basic unit the sound is acceptable but not to the levels in the high end but great quality overall at a budget price in my opinion.

Very disappointing. Far too fiddly to use.
The radio looks very stylish. But, the sound quality is not up to Roberts usual standard, and using the settings is appalling. The ‘low’ back light is unpleasantly bright at night. Working through the different settings is almost impossible, it's difficult to find the various preset stations (why on earth is everything in just 3 buttons?) and the instructions are very unhelpful. I am extremely disappointed, particular having had superb Roberts radios for the last 34 years, with 2 still in daily use, including the one bought in 1991. I intend giving this to a charity and buying another make, having checked it isn't so user unfriendly.
