About this product
The Roberts Play 11 is a portable DAB, DAB and FM RDS radio designed for moving around the house or taking with you. With 20 presets split between 10 DAB and 10 FM slots, you can store stations from Radio 2 to your local and switch between them without menus. The fabric covering gives it a quality feel above plain plastic, and it slips into a bag or sits neatly on a kitchen worktop. It runs on mains power via the included USB-C cable or 4 x AA batteries (not included), so you can unplug it and head to the garden or garage without losing your place in a programme.
The LCD display shows station names clearly with FM RDS, and manual and search tuning let you find stations your way. There's a sleep timer for bedtime listening, auto time update to keep the clock accurate, and a headphone socket for private listening. Auto tune and auto scan set up stations in seconds, and the straightforward menu gives quick access to main functions without an instruction booklet. It's compact, portable and delivers clear DAB reception. Includes a USB-C power cable and a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Bought to replace my elderly DAB radio and it picks up all the DAB+ channels crystal clear. Slightly smaller than I'd pictured it in my head from the advert - probably should have looked at measurements! Date and time set themselves on first plug in. Tuning is quick. And the two button turn and press buttons seem really intuitive to save your ten favourite stations. Looks smart too with it's fabric front. Would buy again as a gift.

Great little radio
I bought this recently and am very happy with it. A great little radio, to have in the shed, kitchen, by the bed.... good quality sound, very easy set up, I like that it can be mains or battery. The only improvement would be if it was rechargeable. Roberts radios are always good quality.
