After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Beko FFG4545W Tall Freezer: Regarding the flat tray included with the freezer, we would like to clarify that this is entirely normal. The flap has been removed from all Beko freezer models to enhance the appliance's energy efficiency. Additionally, the flap material is prone to becoming brittle in the cold conditions of the fast freeze area, and its removal is a preventive measure to ensure durability and functionality.

It is just open.
