About this product
This Pyrex Cook & Heat dish is made from borosilicate high tempered glass. It enables you to cook and bake in the oven (up to 300 degrees without the lid), then cool and freeze, store and reheat in the microwave, according to your needs. Equipped with a patented lid with valves, specially developed to release steam, it lets you easily reheat your meals in the microwave without making a mess. The airtight BPA-free lid with sliding valve and locking clip lid is also ideal for storing your meals in the fridge.

Lid doesn't stay closed with microwaved hot foods
From new, with the lid pressed firmly down, the lid raises right up when cooking in the microwave, leaving it 'floating' on steam. This defeats it's object, plus it causes the dish to be unsafe when lifting it out the microwave.. Both vents are always open, and there's no fix. I left it too long to return it, and it's now just an expensive (and heavy) fridge storage tub. Oh and the lid is horrid to clean by it's design. Food gets into the 'seal' recesses, and as I wash by hand, it's an additional misery trying to actually get it clean. The lid only stays down with a decent seal when cold food is inside it.
