Perfect hair curler, hadn't really used one like it before but my hairdresser has one she swears by so I had to get it and it's so easy to use and reliable! It even beeps at you if you have your hair in a bit wrong so you don't get it stuck! If you use it properly it's a dream, makes the perfect curls. I have very thick wavy hair and it's a dream to help tame it! Can't recommend enough

I bought these a couple of weeks ago to try to curl my hair for my brother's wedding, as I've been unable to book a hair stylist. Please see below from the Instruction Booklet:
CURL DIRECTION SETTING (Right/Left/Auto)
Use the Curl direction control to choose either a uniform or natural
finish. Select the curl direction by sliding the switch to either left 'L' or
right 'R'. When styling the left side of the hair, slide the curl direction
switch to the left position - 'L'. When styling the right side of the hair,
slide the switch to the right position - 'R'. This ensures that the curl
sits towards the face on both sides of the head and will give a more
uniform style. For a more natural look then select the auto setting 'A'.
This will alternate the direction after each curl.''
