Not quite as good as I’d hoped
A few reviews of this shaver complained about not that close a shave and terrible shaving rash. I ignored them as I don’t have particularly sensitive skin or a very thick beard. I was wrong to ignore them. I get shaving rash wet or dry and I would say the shave isn’t that much better than my worn out Phillips which I was replacing. Pretty disappointing as I expected better of Remington and this wasn’t a budget shaver. On the plus side, USB charging is a nice feature and the battery life is good, but that doesn’t make up for a fundamental poor shaving experience

Great looking object
Was thrilled to be using this type of shaver dry it was great on my cheeks but below the chin and onto the neck where I have had razor burn before this brought it on so bad so I have had to use an eczema cream and may now grow a beard below my jawline or shave wet there again when the soreness goes.

Smart Razor
After using a Philishave for many years this razor is comfortable to handle and gave me a superior shave, it also due to its flat base interior is easier to clean. The rotary cutting heads gave slightly more drag than the Philishave but never uncomfortable. In all a good product.

Bought an expensive electric razor and it rubbish
Wanting to try a more convenient way shaving while travelling, I opted for this (not cheap) Remington model. Used it for about 1 month now, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have used it I have needed to follow up with a partial wetshave because it just misses so many hairs (even using the recommended shaving techniques). Also take so long to simply shave some areas of the face. Will put this in the bin next week where it belongs

Chose to replace similar Philips shaver due to bat
Had this for a few weeks now, definitely not worth the full price I got it with 80% discount. Firstly the weight of the packaging and carry case nearly twice that of the shaver itself. Presentation box is not seen when buying online so just bad for the environment. Carry case more useful as a lunch box when travelling/holidays owing to size .Battery very good, shave very close, having a wet flannel to hand improves comfort. On/OFF switch seems a bit weak. Most annoying thing is the Head release button that is to easily activated when using and th resulting mess. Spend less on the packaging, more on the product.

Remington X9 cordless shaver.
First thing to notice is the size of the box, far too big for travelling with, a soft bag should be included. It gives a reasonable shave although the catch to open the shave head is too easy to open by accident leaving you covered in your shavings. Battery life is good but the charge indication lights are not accurate and as the shaver does not appear to be able to be used while charging you could be left half shaven. Apart from these niggles the unit is light and feels ok in the hand.
