Exactly what we needed
We wanted a soda maker with a glass bottle instead of a plastic one and this is the only one with a reasonable price that fits the bill. Easy to use, not too big, makes soda water.

Does not achieve enough gas
I bought this soda machine and returned the gas bottle within two days. Thought their fault. Same thing happened on second bottle. Never used it again.

Best sparking water - ever
We've had a couple of different brands make sparking water. The plastic bottles were out of date, as they started to crack, so we thought about getting a glass bottle instead. It is the best thing we did, as the water tastes clearer, there is no funny aftertaste that we had with plastic bottles, and they look fabulous in the fridge. I'm definitely drinking more because of the difference in taste and the ease of using the machine. The glass bottle also reminds me of the first SodaStream we had back in the '70s. They were small glass bottles. Anyway, the best thing we did was to buy more glass bottles and have a fridge full of refreshing sparking water ready for the family.

Only water should be carbonated in the SodaStream Duo Sparkling Water Maker. You risk damaging your Sparkling Water Maker and the warranty will be invalidated if you carbonate any liquid other than water in your Sparkling Water Maker.

In the description it says that the Duo comes with x1 BPA Free Bottle -Plastic and x1 Glass Bottle .. Therefore could you please confirm???
Mine came with two bottles. 1 plastic, 1 glass.
