After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the SodaStream Terra Sparkling Water Maker: ''To clarify, the carbonation bottle that comes with the Terra sparkling water maker is made of plastic. If the customer had concerns of washing it, please let them know that it is dishwasher safe.''

"I can confirm that the TERRA model is only compatible with our pink Quick Connect CO2 cylinders. Unfortunately, it cannot be used with screw-in canisters."
