Bought this in December to replace worn out washing machine and old tumble dryer. Very pleased easy to use very quiet and efficient. Drying takes longer than my old vented dryer and seems to struggle with towels need to finish them off on airer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with this washing machine. It's got a good range of settings. You can do washes in as quick as 15 minutes. It has a good capacity and you can fit loads in. It looks nice, fits in nicely with my other white appliances. The dryer function is a lot better than my old washer/dryer, the clothes actually come out bone dry. I find it very easy to use. My husband can never work out how to just put it on a dry (without the wash) but it's very easy. There's even a button for that. I never use the big blue 'push and go' button on the front. I don't really know what it's for and the instructions aren't that clear. I'm assuming it's to do a simple wash and dry, although you could just select that on the dial I don't know why there's a separate big button. But all in all an excellent washing machine 👍

Better instructions would be helpful.
Can only give 3 stars as have not been able to fully explore the machine as the accompanying instructions are basic and have gaps in their information. For instance, it says that first thing you need to do is to put the machine on Auto Clean but then it does not tell you which buttons to use. Eventually I found how to do this in a later unconnected section. I felt the instructions given by Indesit for this model are really poor and badly set out. I actually found more information from searching amateur videos on YouTube. There is reference to the QR code on the machine giving more instructions but when we tried this, it did not seem to be the case. So far I’ve tried the 45 minute cycle and the spin mode and both of those work well and are much quieter than my old washer dryer. One thing I have noticed, is that after the wash and spin there seems to be more liquid left in the inside rim that my previous machine. The drying programs are complicated to navigate and without clear instructions, we’ve only tried a couple of times and the cycles did seem to take ages, even with small loads. Maybe we will figure it all out eventually but at the moment would not recommend due to lack of clarity of instructions and complicated programs/dials and buttons.

Great for a family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased to receive this Indesit washer dryer from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. I will admit to being pleasantly surprised with it, despite coming from the Horpoint family, Indesit is not a brand I have chosen myself before, but I think I've been missing out! The drum is a great size at 9kg for a wash and 6kg for drying (bigger than the one I swapped out, but not their largest model) so I could get a good load done, great for a family of four, including two teens. The instructions were a little complex and took some reading, so many different options, but after a while, you choose a favourite and it's simple enough. Quiet and efficient, with different levels of drying ability. Happy to recommend this machine, seems to be a good value for money option too.

Super quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with this washer dryer! It's the quietest machine I've ever owned. I can't believe I thought it was completely normal for washing machines to be loud like my previous one! Lots of wash programs to choose from and for most the temperature and spin speed can be adjusted. The detergent tray looks good too, the slots are good size and easy to fill and clean. The dryer function takes time but works really well. It's going to be very convenient dying clothes without putting them on radiators these winters. The 45min cycle for full load is very convenient and would probably be used the most in my house. There is a 15min cycle as well which would be very useful for undergarments and gym wear. Another huge point for me is the fact you can open the door with the pause button in the middle of the cycle. I forgot a sock out and was able to put it in. Really excited to experiment with the different settings in the coming days, doing laundry shouldn't be this exciting! 😆

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Indesit BDE96436WVUK 9/6KG 1400 Spin Washer Dryer - White:
The dryer will be on a sensor and you can press the start/pause button to pause the drying cycle and release the door to check the garments.
If you wish to continue with the cycle then the start/pause button will just need to be re-pressed or you can end the cycle if the garments are dry.
