Disappointed
I am disappointed with my v10. Firstly unlike my previous v10 I only received 1 filter. This puts the machine out of action for the 24-48hrs when it has been washed. Secondly everywhere Dyson i have bought has been an improvement on the previous Dyson even if it was just because it was new and removed more dirt than my older tried model. This machine is good but removes less dirt than my previous v10.

I bought the unit perhaps 3 week ago, I like using the unit. We had our previous unit for circa 10 years with plenty of replacement parts, on that unit we found the bin was not easily re attached after emptying. This unit is far better, however you have to detach the hose pipe to allow the emptying of the bin, reattaching the hose pipe is difficult only because you dont naturally see the fitting on reassembly and it jams frequently which is a issue for me. Perrhaps a bit of furniture Polish might make it slide easier. A bit disappointing in this aspect.

I’ve only been using it for a couple of eeeks but really pleased with the suction on it. It was a bit awkward emptying it for the first time as it was really stiff, but fine now.

The Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has a runtime of up to 60 minutes on a full charge when using non-motorized attachments in the lowest power mode. However, in the highest power mode with motorized attachments, the runtime can be as short as 6 minutes.
As for the battery’s lifespan, Dyson claims that the battery should last for about 15 years under typical usage. This means you shouldn’t need to replace the battery for a long time, provided it’s used and maintained properly.

Having checked I can see the Dyson V11 Advanced Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 265/5790 is larger and heavier than the V10. The V10 also comes with an extra adjustable floorhead to switch between carpet and hard floor at the touch of a button.
