Tv was ok. Slow to boot up (amazon fore tv). Sound quality was awful. Sounds like someone talking down a tube. Had this 2 weeks and I had enough of it, couldn't watch a programme without having to mess with the sound (all settings).

It is dead centre on the bottom / underside of the TV. It looks like a piece of plastic moulding but if you look carefully you will see the power symbol (circle with line through) on it.

This TV doesn't have a dedicated Off/On button but does have a standby button in the location that is stated in the manual.

The standby button is positioned on the underside of the TV (centrally).

I don't think it has a power button, just the on/off button in the middle underneath the grey frame which does the same thing as the remote on/off button. The only way to cut power completely is to switch it off at the wall, which is what I do at night.

Thanks for your query about the Freesat Recordable 500GB 4K TV Box.
Without knowing the specific age, brand and model of the box, we cannot be exact but, as most tend to work via the same sockets and types of cables, it is likely to be OK. This TV has several HDMI sockets and, if your box also has such a socket and the required cable, it will connect to the TV. (The TV does not have built in Freesat so you would need a box to access Freesat).
