Efficient and Satisfactory Results.
This heat pump dryer replaced a standard condenser unit so I expected it to be slower at drying but it is not at all prohibitive and I have had no issues with results. The only strugle the product has is with larger items such as bed linen. This tends to end up in a ball because the drum only roates in one direction. It would greatly benefit from reverse tumble intervals in my opinion as my previous dryers have had. No harsh temperatures are involved and laundry feels much softer than previous units. Creasing doesn't appear to be an issue. Satisfied with the product.

Yes it uses less electricity than a vented tumble dryer for any given period but don't let the blurb blind you with science. It takes a lot longer to dry so you end up using the same or more electricity than an old school vented dryer, things never truly feel dry, no matter how long you leave it on. Now the biggie ! Bosch in their infinite wisdom have cut out the reverse action on their dryers ! If I had known this before I bought it I would have walked on by. Bedding 100% of the time comes out in a tight ball, dry on the outside and wet in the middle, and that is after 2 Hours of drying. Reverse action is utterly essential on tumble dryers, I can only think they took advice from a 6 year old. Don't waste your hard earned money, seek out a vented tumble dryer with reverse action, I wish I had !

Great machine, does everything I would what from a dryer and super cheap, a full load takes around 1.5hrs to fully dry at a cost of 30p Quick, quiet, cheap to run, water container easily emptied and looks great. The only downside is the lint filter is a little tricky to open and looks like it may be a weak point in the future. Only 4stars because I would have loved it to come with Home Connect like my other Bosch items, other than this excellent 👍 👍

Great value for money!
The delivery was very quick and easy. We also easily unpacked and installed it ourselves, we only plugged in :). It has its own water drawer so no drainage is needed but you can also connect it to a drain since they are sending the necessary long pipe. It's depth is around 65cm with the front door so be careful with the sizes if you'll put it in a cabinet. The drum is really huge and you can easily fit a lot of clothes. The door is also wide enough. It doesn't make much noise and it really consumes less energy, I followed it from our smart meter for a couple of days. We use it at least twice a week and it has been around 3 weeks, works perfectly. It is a little bit expensive (around 100 GBP) than the average but its energy consumption is worth it, we'll probably get our investment back within 6 months.

Machine has good capacity, is quiet when running. Was pleasantly surprised at how dry it gets the laundry, after having been warned that it wouldn't compare to my previous condenser drier. Very good overall...and much lighter on energy consumption.

“ Unfortunately, we do not state temperatures on our dryers. The only exception is that the hygiene setting goes to 80 degrees Celsius. Please note that WTH85223GB does not have this setting. ”
