Hello Chi,
Rotary Nurses' Stainless Steel Fob Watch.
Yes, the Rotary Nurses' Stainless Steel Fob Watch uses batteries. It is a quartz watch that requires a battery for operation.
Thank you.
Hey Ann50,
This Fob Watch is water resistant, although this would not be printed/engraved on the watch itself.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
Hi there,
I can advise that we do not offer an engraving service on this item. The back plate has writing on it and would not be suitable for engraving.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
Hi there
The watch is quarz . Most jewellers can change the battery for you
I hope this information is useful to you . Thank you for using Argos Q + A
Thank you for your question.
Having looked into your query, I can confirm that on the back of the Rotary Stainless Steel Nurses Fob Watch is the Rotary Logo which is above a world symbol, this alone is approximately 1cm in diameter, therefore there is not a lot of space left to engrave, but it will depend on what you wished to engrave there. The best advice would be to ask in store to “view” the item.
Thank you for using Argos Q & A.
It is a quartz fob watch, takes a battery.
Hi, thank you for your question.
Having looked into this for you, I can confirm that the manufacturers have stated this watch will be quartz.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
It is a scale on the watch to help when taking a pulse. You start counting the pulse, when the second hand is at 12.
You count to 30 pulses and wherever the second hand is, when you get to 30, you read the scale to get the pulse rate for a minute.
In theory, it can save time (30 seconds). In practice, you have to wait for the second hand to get to 12 before you can start anyway.
And you need good eyes to read the scale, when it is pinned to your lapel.
Hi, thank you for your question regarding the Rotary Stainless Steel Nurses Fob Watch.
Having looked into your query, I can advise a pulseometer on a nurse fob watch is used to keep track and measure peoples heart rates.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
