An old favourite.
About the fourth of these that I have had over 30 years or so. Like the waterproofness and the bright glow in the dark dial. Recommended. The packaging though is a bit ridiculous. Why does a watch need a cushion to sit on?

Easy readable watch face , night and day
My husband suffers with dementia but depends on his watch all the time. The colour of the face and the clear reading of the date and time are just what he needed to be able to understand the time. So wonderful to find something that doesn’t cost the earth to help him along the way each day

Great field watch
I purchased this for garden work, garage, country/ coastal walks. It makes a great watch for night time driving too like my occasional airport runs and pickups Pros; Small clear face, keeps good time, comfortable wrist strap, great value, great night time illumination with lume on watch face excellent for low visibility or night use Cons; day/ date a little bit fiddly to set up ( but works well once sorted) it’s quite a small watch face so could be a little larger, the strap band holder slips around a little bit but the strap can easily be swapped out if required.

Great little watch
Seems like a great little watch. Easy to read digits and dark hands against a green face. The watch also packs quite a powerful glow in the dark. Not sure how long the strap will last and will probably change that for a more robust one at some point. This watch gets great reviews on YouTube from various watch experts which is what persuaded me. Quality rating is based only on first few weeks of ownership.

Exceptional value and an excellent timekeeper.
I wanted a military style watch that was not too expensive and, at £34.99, this fits the bill perfectly. It has a water resistance to 100m. The winder is not screw down. As the face is Lumibrite it is exceptionally bright. To see how bright it can be, shine a strong light on it! It then slowly fades over the next few hours and is visible all night. It keeps excellent time and my watch is only gaining about 2 to 3 seconds a month. Compared to my CWC military watch ( at 10 times the cost) the Lorus is actually performing better. The second hand is aligned to the second markers. The strap is very good and comfortable and fits my 8in wrist three holes to spare. Lorus is owned by Seiko and this explains the quality. In summary I dont think it is possible to get a better value watch even compared to watches in a different price league.

Bought as a cheap back watch and it looks good for the money. Setting the day/date confused me for a few minutes - but more careful reading of the online instructions that have a link on the Argos web page - and I was able do it easily.

I bought this 3 weeks ago lovely to wear very lightweight. Only 3 stars as day date changes at wrong time of day despite resetting at various times in 24 hr cycle.

It is not a snap on. It has a screw on back case. It is also 37mm diameter and not 35mm
