Good solid appliance
I bought the kettle a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with it. Good solid appliance, well made and sturdy. Boils quickly. The switch looks maybe a bit flimsy.

it's a kettle
needed a new kettle after the old one developed a leak. seen this liked it and the text is history. only annoying thing the space between handle and lid is small fitting it under a swan neck tap is a task. but it boils water and that's what it's meant to do.

Wanted something stainless steel to replace old kettle I love the style and shape of this kettle well done to whoever designed it it’s perfect in my new kitchen I fill through the spout don’t always remove the lid. Has cup measures so no waste of water and electric when boiling It’s possibly louder than my old kettle but not too loud A little work of art in my opinion

Does the job but noisy
So many kettles to choose from. In reality it is not like in the picture, it's very "chunky" looking, bit too much so. It's fairly quick to boil but it is very noisy. So I'm afraid not one of my better choices.

Great looking and performing kettle!
I bought it to replace a faulty kettle. I was looking for a sleek looking kettle to match our stainless steel coffee machine. This kettle has beautiful design, is modern but fits traditional kitchen as well as a modern one.. It is very quiet, has a big spout. It is low, but quite wide, so it takes a bit more space on the worktop, but it is low instead. The chrome finish makes it reflect light, it really is beautiful.

The supplier has advised the following for the Russell Hobbs Distinctions Titanium Kettle:
"The kettle filter is not the only plastic part. There is also the red measurement element on the inside of the kettle which is also removable. Please be advised we do not recommend removing the spout filter as it is there to prevent limescale from getting into your cup."
