Product quality matches the price
I bought this to record a presentation for university. I was very impressed by it's connectivity - just plug it in and you're good to go. No drivers or software needed. For the price, it's great; audio quality matches what was expected. Reverb was an issue, albeit it was used on a wooden desk, so the included stand wasn't high enough to avoid it. Had to hold it by hand.

Does the job
Bought to use as a discord mic. It is very easy to use and plug/play. Could do with more adjustment options. The red light in front was distracting.

Great mic for clear voice recording
I was recommended this mic by colleagues as a decent mic to record voice overs for digital learning elements. Unlike the cheap mic that I was using, plugged directly into a mic socket on my PC, this is plugged in via USB and offers clear, professional quality recordings for narration or podcasts. I do tidy up audio in an audio editing software to get rid of any background noise, but if you have a foam isolation shield around it (which I purchased elsewhere), this increased the quality of recording. It can also be used as a mic for Teams or Zoom, you just have to make sure you select which audio input you would like to use in settings for Teams or Zoom. The only downside is the USB cable which cones with it protrudes significantly from the back of the device.

Does what it says on tin
bought it just to enhance my discord calls and when gaming with friends and it does what it says on the tin my friends say my voice is crystal clear and so much better than the headset mic i was using on my steelseries. Honestly if you want a budget streaming mic or just something to make your voice sound more clearer during video calls then i would recommend looking at this product its simple to use and doesn't take up all your desk.

Finally, people can hear me on Zoom calls!
Wish I'd bought this ages ago. Couldn't be easier to set up. Works well so far. I'd recommend it.

Hello Harry,
After checking with the supplier, I can confirm this Blue Snowball iCE USB PC Streaming Gaming Microphone is for use with a PC or laptop. iCE has a custom condenser capsule that delivers crystal-clear audio quality that no computer microphone can match. And with its cardioid polar pattern, it’s one of the most versatile USB microphones around.

Hello Barnaby,
I can advise the following on the Blue Mic Snowball ICE USB Microphone:
Yes, this will give a good guide track for rapping vocals over backing tracks. Please ensure they you check that the recording software or DAW you are using is able to accept input from USB Microphones first.
If using a Mac then you may need to make an aggregate input device to allow the DAW to see it, or Windows using any ASIO4ALL to allow you to do the same.
Thanks for using Q&A.

Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Casper,
This will vary based on how close/how loud the background noises are. If it is next to the console with people talking etc in the background then it may pick up the voices.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello,
I have looked into this and this webcam is only compatible with Windows and mac iOS.
I hope this helps

Hi Fi,
After checking with the manufacturer, I can confirm that this Blue Mic Snowball ICE USB Microphone is only compatible with PC's or laptop.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi,
The Blue Mic Snowball ICE USB Microphone - Black comes with a stand. The RockJam Scissor Arm Microphone Stand can hold mics of up to 1.5kg so it would be able to hold this one.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
For anyone looking at this question, this mic doesnt use a jack port and uses a USB port. So if you buy a lightning to USB Port adapter it will work.
Hi Dontdeshook,
It would depend on what iPhone you have, as the latest do not have 3.5mm jack port.
If you have one of the old iPhone, there is no reason why it shouldn't work.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
