Glides like skating on ice
My only complaint is the steam spits a bit when raising the iron up, but it glides really well and makes ironing easy.

Tefal Easygliss Eco Iron
Thought it was lovely, colour, size & make but when I tried to use it there I'd a problem with the steam switch - it will not stay in that position, will only stay on eco or stop choice on that area. Also it will go on delicate or wool choice but not onto cotton. So a let down really & wouldn't recommend buying this one. I hope they share this review so others are aware.

Great iron
I was a bit sceptical about buying this iron at first but went ahead anyway, and I'm glad I did. It's lighter than my old iron but definitely more powerful. Gets stubborn creases out instantly. The only downside is the tank is a bit small so needs refilling often but that just means its steaming really well so I'm happy š

Best ever
I have had many many irons, some quite cheap and some quite expensive. This is the best iron I have ever purchased. Highly recommend. Glides over your clothing and you donāt need to use the steamer

Best Iron
I hate ironing, so wanted a good one so I donāt have I use much effort. Bought this one as it was green and tefal. Got to say ironing is not much of a chore now with this iron. Best money spent, I can recommend this iron 100%. Worth every penny.

Best iron from Tefal
I was sick of my old iron leaving creases,so bought this iron which was more pricey than I usually spend, but so impressed itās like a steamer come iron, creases eliminated, yes you need to fill water tank more often but well worth the effort, for an iron that does what it should.,it glides over clothesā¦

Light weight and good glide
This was a replacement for a leaky iron and this was bought at 30% off which drew me to it. Good all round iron with good steam and easy glide but I would have liked the cable to be a bit longer, hence only 4āļø

Full steam ahead!
The iron is nice and light to use. As other reviewers have commented, the cable is about a foot too short, and you will probably need an extension lead sited close by. Even on the Eco setting, it seems to use more water than my previous Philips iron. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

I asked this question before buying the iron. It says the flex is 2 meters on the Tefal website and on Argos but Ive just measured it and in fact the flex is 20cm shorter so is 1.8 meters.
Hi Niki, the power cord is 2m
Hi, we can confirm that this appliance is manufactured in France. Thanks

Thank you for using Q & A.
This button is an extra boost of steam. It will not stay in place, just flick the slider to the position or hold it there for a few seconds to get the extra steam.
Weve just bought a FV5781 eco from Currys and it doesnt have a descaling filter as shown in the guidance. This feature seems to exist in the PLUS version ?. Can we get our money back.
Yes, you can descale this iron by unscrewing the anti-calc collector and pull it out of the base unit. Soak the anti-calc collector in lemon juice for up to 4 hours. Then place the anti-calc collector back in its housing by screwing it in completely to ensure it is watertight.
