Tefal EasyGliss Eco iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great iron in general - it heats up quickly, produces powerful steam (though it requires you to refill it with water quite often) and glides smoothly. It’s lightweight but works really well and has a sturdy stand. The only issue I have with it is that it has a short cord, I think it should be longer.

Amazing easygliss eco iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've received the iron just before holiday packing and used same day. It is very easy to use and make ironing more comfortable and much quicker,as it is bigger than my previous iron. Tefal Easygliss Eco heats up quickly and is ready to use in a short time. The steam is very powerful and works amazing, removing all wrinkles with little effort, what helps clothes look fresh. The water tank is easy to fill and the steam comes out evenly. Tefal easygliss is comfortable to hold but little bit heavier than my previous iron. Overall this is a very good quality iron with great performance and is eco, so it is using energy efficiently with a great performance. It saves time and gives excellent results, and it looks very elegant. I'm very satisfied with this product and will 100% recommend. Additionally it looks very elegant.

Tefal easygliss eco iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite impressed with this iron. It’s a really good balanced weight which is something that I look for in an iron. Made light work of half a dozen shirts and suddenly my pile of ironing didn’t seem so much of a chore. This iron heated up quickly and easily maintained its heat even when constantly using steam facility. It certainly surpassed my current iron in its performance. I would definitely recommend considering this iron when purchasing a new one. Top marks.

Eco-Friendly & Efficieny
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Tefal EasyGliss Eco and overall I'm quite pleased with it. It heats up quickly, the steam is strong enough and it usually gets creases out first time. I like the eco mode as well, the only downside I 'd say is the water tank isn't big and the steam can be inconsistent sometimes.

Tefal EasyGliss Eco review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved to test this steam iron. Tefal is my go-to brand and this product did not disappoint. Love the pleasing design, the aqua green colour, the easy glide ceramic sole plate, the precise manual settings and the fast heat up time. Performed well to iron the most delicate materials even on the lowest steam setting. The steam distribution is even. Unfortunately I couldn't verify the up to 30% saving in eco mode and although it made with 88% recyclable materials our council not yet collect mixed recycling - only the cardboard box.

Smooth, Efficient & Easy to Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Tefal EasyGliss Eco steam iron for a couple of weeks now, and I’m honestly really happy with it. It heats up super quickly, which I appreciate as it is a task I try to get done as quickly as possible. The iron glides really smoothly over fabric and doesn’t snag at all. You can see in the photos it made a noticeable difference to the fabric straight away, even without going over the same area loads of times. The steam output is strong and consistent which helped a lot with creases that normally take more effort. I didn’t have to press down hard, and it felt like the iron was doing most of the work for me! It also worked well on everyday items without needing constant adjustments. It also feels good knowing that the iron uses less energy while still giving good results. The iron itself feels solid but not too heavy. Overall it’s a well designed, reliable iron that does exactly what you want it to do.

Brilliant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I'm impressed by this iron! Doesn't take long to heat up at all and gets rid of the creases in the clothes with ease. It's very lightweight which is a bonus as my previous iron felt bulky and heavy. Love how it's energy saving too. 5☆ Great product, highly recommend.

Great iron!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really pleased to receive this product to test. Compared to my Morphy Richard’s steam iron I was using previous it was so much better. Heats up quickly and glides smoothly across clothes. Works perfectly first time without having to repeat any areas making a large basket of ironing a pleasure to do. The eco mode is great as saves energy and yet still works perfectly. I would happily recommend this iron.

Could be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little disappointed with the iron as it lacked variable steam output for me. The steam doesn't have the variation like other irons. Its one area that needs improvement, but overall a good iron.

Easy & Lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tefal Easygliss Eco proves that you don't have to choose between a powerful iron and a sustainable lifestyle. It’s a fast, effective tool that feels good to use. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold, which helps prevent wrist fatigue during longer ironing sessions. The iron glides with ease and is one of the best irons I have used. It makes ironing so effortless.

I asked this question before buying the iron. It says the flex is 2 meters on the Tefal website and on Argos but Ive just measured it and in fact the flex is 20cm shorter so is 1.8 meters.
Hi Niki, the power cord is 2m
Hi, we can confirm that this appliance is manufactured in France. Thanks
Hello Lindyloo,
The Tefal FV5781G0 Easygliss Eco Steam Iron is manufactured in China.
Thank you for using Q & A.
This button is an extra boost of steam. It will not stay in place, just flick the slider to the position or hold it there for a few seconds to get the extra steam.
Weve just bought a FV5781 eco from Currys and it doesnt have a descaling filter as shown in the guidance. This feature seems to exist in the PLUS version ?. Can we get our money back.
Yes, you can descale this iron by unscrewing the anti-calc collector and pull it out of the base unit. Soak the anti-calc collector in lemon juice for up to 4 hours. Then place the anti-calc collector back in its housing by screwing it in completely to ensure it is watertight.
