The fleece is sew in on a cardboard. It comes out of of box yes but cannot be washed I don’t think as it’s not an envelop with a zip. Hope this help.

I can confirm this item is chipboard covered in grey fabric and then the top for the item is a layer of chipboard, foam and then fabric over the top.

I think so! It's very solid. It's not collapsible material.
Argos have measurements wrong way round! Width and depth need to be vice versa, which is annoying as it would have fit in the space but it doesn’t because it is 42 wide not deep!!!

Personally I would say it is more suitable for a small cat as it only 42 x 32cm.

You could put the box underneath a side table or under a chair that rarely gets used or under anything low enough that there's no space for your dogs to clamour onto it :)
