Light broke within a week
Tank itself is fine, but the light broke within one week. I went to the store tovsee if the light could be changed, only to be advised that I would have to return the whole tank. That in itself is impossible as tank is in use which includes a couple of pregnant shrimp and a pregnant molly. It takes time and or expense to get the water right and changing the whole tank qould be a desth sentence for the shrimp and molly fry.

Very impressive size for the price
Bought this tank a few weeks ago as an upgrade. Extremely impressed with the size for the price. The night light feature is excellent and brings ambiance to the whole room when turned on. My only very small criticism is the pump. Works just fine but doesn’t produce as many bubbles as I expected for the size. Overall great tank.

Great large tank for Beginners
I bought this about a month and a half ago. The tank is superb quality. Easy to build. I have a thriving community tank and super happy with how large this tank is and how cheap it was. Thank you

Ok, for the price its fantastic you wont find a cheaper 100 ltr tank however the filter should be replaced for something better such as fluval u3 or eheim pick up 160 the light is a no frills affair but does its job well and can grow some live plants like java fern and anubias or even amazon sword i well recommend this i have had two now only failure since purchase was the heater but even spend out on a new filter and heater i still cant match it ,,,well done keep the price low and your on a winner

Hello Holly.
After checking this for you it is recommended that the MINIMUM tank size for a single adult axolotl is 10 gallons or 45.5 litres. It must be 20-25 inches (51-64 cm) long, 10 inches (25.4 cm) wide and deep.
If you intend to use the tank only for the axolotl then yes, this will be suitable.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Barbs,
The supplier has advised the following for the Tetra Starter Line 105L LED Fish Tank:
"I can confirm that this is not suitable for a Terrapin. these turtles need an area to haul out of the water to bask. The filter supplied in these tanks needs to be filled near the top of the tank."
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hi Coll123,
To check if the heater in your Tetra Starter Line 105L LED Fish Tank is working, look for the LED indicator on the heater. When the heater is switched on, the LED on the glass tube will light up.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hi Dave.
Tetra Starter Line 105L LED Fish Tank:
Having looked into this, you only need polystyrene or similar under a tank if is only has a bare glass bottom. If there is a plastic rim around the bottom, and the glass is not in direct contact with the stand, polystyrene is not needed.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi There,
Tetra Starter Line 105L LED Fish Tank
Having checked the manual I can see the filter is not to be fully submerged.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Robs,
Tetra Starter Line 105L LED Fish Tank
Having checked the manual I can see the heater should be pushed in to the filter casing so will be submerged once fitted into the tank with the top of the filter sitting above the waterline.
Thanks for using Q&A.
