Tetra Starter Tank 54L
I bought this at Christmas for a replacement. Downfalls for me - I had to change the heater, it wasn't getting anywhere near the temperature stated - you can't change the temperature either, but even after a couple of days, it just wasn't heating, I liked the way the heater fitted in the filter box as it made it very tidy - I even took it out of the filter box to see if it would help get to the temperature, but it didn't. The filter seems ok - just now a rather big chunk in the tank. My biggest gripe is the lid isn't hinged - so yes you can drop the food in - through the feed hole - but everything just falls in the one place - not ideal. So back to my gripe - if you need to remove the lid - to change filter or move anything - you need to remove the lid - and even with the best will in the world it gets messy, as it won't lean against a wall and then there is water everywhere, as it won't prop on itself even - to let any water run back into the tank.

Easy to set up first fish tank
I was given this as a Christmas present and my sons have just set ot up for me. It looks great and they said it was fairly easy to set up. I'm now just waiting for a few days, then I'm going fish shopping!!

I love these tanks š I have 3 of them, the 30L,54L and the 105L. I use my own preferred filters and heaters though but the actual tanks are lovely and reasonably priced..highly recommend āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

Yes the heater can be used outside of the filter, but you would need a heater clip & suckers to fix it to the aquarium glass. Ensure the heater is fully submerged at all times.Ā
