The Sophia is a beautiful double bed frame. The wave shaped headboard in sumptuous moss green velvet has been hand upholstered by skilled craftsmen. Definitely a bold statement piece for the bedroom.
Designed with comfort in mind as well as stunning looks, it offers a slatted base for additional support and mattress ventilation.
Turned wooden feet offer another elegant detail and the finishing touch to this luxurious and elegant soft-to-the- touch bed.

Slats not compatible with pocket sprung mattress
I’ve just bought this bed for the spare room in my house. The bed itself is gorgeous very solid lovely colour. However the gaps between the slats are over 8cm which means the bed base is not compatible with memory foam, hybrid or pocket sprung mattresses. There is no warning about this that I can see on the Argos or Habitat websites. I have bought a pocket sprung mattress separately so I am going to have to have a new set of slats made which are thicker and closer together so my mattress doesn’t get ruined. Basically the bed is not fit for purpose for many uk mattresses - avoid.

Beautiful velvet bed
We bought this bed 2 weeks ago. It arrived 2 weeks after ordering , it was easy to assemble by two of us and looks absolutely beautiful. We also bought the recommended mattress and are extremely pleased. Good quality at a reasonable price

Perfect Finish To Guest Room
I ordered this to replace a small double in a spare guest room. It looks stylish & was easy to put together. I was able to arrange delivery at my convenience, great communication and arrived on time. Great value too as had a 20% discount. So pleased once it’s decorated I am going to get another, in a different colour for our second guest room. Guest rooms = grown up children visiting.

You state INDIVIDUAL max user weight is 110KG. Does that mean the total max weight is 220KG, based on a couple sharing one double bed?
