Decided not to keep it
Nice looking phone but I've not actually used it and I'm going to return it as soon as I'm well enough, the batteries that are supplied with the phone for the handset are specialised and when I looked them up are extremely expensive and I want something that's easier to replace when the time comes.

I thought i would go for a different style than usual. Great phone with just a few little bits that annoy a little. The phone has to be off yge holder for you to see who is calling before answering. The ring tones are very shrill, thankfully we don't get a lot of calls so don't have to hear it often. I had to go online to find out about all of the settings and how to set the clock etc, get rid of answering machine messages. But all in all very happy with it.

I loved the look of this phone. I was able to connect it to my Sky broadband. I had a bit more trouble adding my contacts. I still haven't added the date! I only use it as back up in case I have a problem with my mobile.

The supplier has advised the following for the VTech LS1350 Cordless Telephone with Answer Machine - Single:
The feature being referred to is called “Answer Delay” and is covered on page 43 of the downloadable user guide, where the higher the number of rings selected the longer the phone will ring before the answerphone automatically picks up the phone.
1. Press the OK key when the phone is not in use (not on a call) or accessing other menu items.
2. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to ANS. MACHINE, and then press OK to select.
3. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to TAM SETTINGS and press OK to select.
4. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to ANSWER DELAY and press OK to select.
5. Press ▼/▲ to select between TIME SAVER, 2 RINGS, 4 RINGS, 6 RINGS or 8 RINGS. Press OK to save the settings and return to previous menu.

I have now purchased the phone myself and plugged it into the back of my Sky Max router and it worked, straight out of the box. So, yes, this phone absolutely is VoIP compatible if your router has a standard UK phone port at the back. Great phone, by the way!
As far as I am aware, my property was one of the first to move over to a VoIP phone service. I simply pulled the phone cable out of the old landline socket and plugged it into the back of my BT router and my phone worked. Clear as crystal and much better than the copper line. The problem, however, is that not all the ports on the back of the routers from different broadband providers are the same. The old landline socket connector is the one you need in the back of your router!
