Basic product
Phone works fine but the digital display is not easy to read

Difficult to set up.
I think we will have to return this because I’m finding it really hard to set up. I’ve even googled instructions as the one’s with the phone are very minimal and it just keeps reverting back to the previous option, consequently we can’t receive any landline calls.

For the VTech CS2050 Cordless Telephone with Answer Machine - Single you can certainly keep the same telephone number, you would just need to transfer over your old SIM card from your old telephone to the new telephone.

The VTech CS2050 Cordless Telephone with Answer Machine does work with fibre if you use an an adapter (ISP) you should be able to get one from your service provider.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the VTech CS2050 Cordless Telephone with Answer Machine - Single.
Yes, the base unit will ring when there is an incoming call. However, it does not have a hands-free speakerphone function, so you cannot answer the call directly from the base.
If the handset is unavailable, the base will allow the answering machine to pick up the call.

Having checked I can see one phone is included with this. This comes with a rechargeable battery that charges when the phone is in the base.

A: How to I delete calls on the handset?
This is covered in “Review the caller ID log” on page 26 and “Delete a caller ID entry” on page 27 of the CS2025 User Manual
To review the caller ID log to review the list of who called
Press the navigation button UP arrow when the phone is not in use. The screen displays the first entry in the caller ID log.
Press ▼/▲ keys to browse the entry you want to delete.
When the desired entry is displayed, press the OK button to select.
Press ▼/▲ until the screen displays DELETE.
Press the OK button to select.
The entry is deleted, and you hear a confirmation tone.
B: How do I extend the number of rings before the answering machine picks up?
This is covered in “Set answer delay” on page 41 of the CS2025 User Manual
To set answer delay
Press the OK button when the phone is not in use.
Press ▼/▲ to scroll to ANS. MACHINE, and then press OK to select.
Press ▼/▲ to scroll to TAM SETTINGS, and press OK to select.
Press ▼/▲ to scroll to ANSWER DELAY, and press OK to select.
Press ▼/▲ to select between TIME SAVER, 2 RINGS, 4 RINGS, 6 RINGS, or 8 RINGS. Press OK to save the settings and return to previous menu option.
