perfect book case
I bought this for my grandson's room as he has so many books. It is bright and clean and fits the space perfectly. I also got it at a bargain price. The only drawback is that it is rather heavy and when the parcel arrived I couldn't lift it into the car!

Damaged corners.
The corners were damaged on receipt. There is plenty of polystyrene to protect this item but none on the corners!! I've purchased corner guards to hide some of the damage. Very poor.

Solid, Good Quality Bookcase
Bought this hoping it would be heavy and built to last, and I think it is. Easy to assemble and solid. The only thing is the back panel split so you can see the space in it which I'm not keen on, but it is hid when the books are on the shelf.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Malibu Short Bookcase - Grey: ''The core board is chipboard which then has a paper decorative paper surface applied which is printed then as either a uni colour or with a wood look pattern. The surface of the paper is lacquered to protect the surface.''
