Unilever have advised that a small number of Lynx The Golden Year With Exclusive Floating / Shower Speaker have a defect which means the cable may overheat when charging the speaker.

A small number of consumers have brought to our attention some issues with their Vype eTank Pro device. These issues relate to the potential for the battery to short circuit in particular product batches, which may pose a fire risk.

If you purchased a device or a standalone battery for Vype eTank Pro which has one of the product codes listed below, we ask you to return your Vype eTank Pro or the standalone battery you purchased to us so we can replace it for you. The quickest way to do this is to contact us by email at etankpro@govype.com or alternatively, you can contact us by phone at 0800 520 0150.

Unscrew your clearomiser from you Vype eTank Pro battery.

Step 2

Locate the product code from the top of the battery.

Step 3

As part of ongoing quality checks; manufacturer (MPL) has identified a potential safety hazard involving the swivel mains connection of the appliance, which could result in an electric shock hazard.

The manufacturer (MPL) of catalogue number 5572162 has asked retailers selling the product to assist them in contacting customers who have bought this product and we want to make you aware that they are recalling the Hair Straightener as a precaution.

We have been advised of a safety concern by the supplier of the Lee Stafford Fat Tong on products with Model Ref: LSHT11. Only batch code 1421 is affected (located on the handle rating plate). On a small number of items, the handle assembly securing screws have failed, allowing the mains lead swivel connection to fall out. If this happens, under no circumstances should you touch the swivel connection electrical contacts. The product must be unplugged from the mains supply.

The LSHT11 has been sold exclusively through Argos stores since July 2014.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

1. Immediately stop using your Lee Stafford Fat Tong.

2. Return the product to your nearest Argos store where a full refund will be given.

In the interests of safety, has been advised that, as a precaution, we recall the product listed above as it is possible that the connecting socket to the swivel connection could fail which could cause a potential electric shock. No other Lee Stafford products are affected by the recall.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Please stop using the product immediately and unplug the appliance from the mains supply. Return the the affected item to store for a full refund.

Hello Kitty & Doctor Who Rotary Firefly Toothbrushes – catalogue numbers 4435066 & 4435028

We have become aware of a problem affecting the Hello Kitty and Doctor Who Rotary Firefly Toothbrushes (Only items purchased before 6th July 2011 are affected). It is possible that the pins holding the end section of the brush in place may fail causing the rotary head to break away from the toothbrush. This could create small parts which could pose a choking hazard.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

If you have an example of one of these toothbrushes... Please stop using it immediately and return the product to your nearest Argos store for a full refund. We wish to thank you for your co–operation and apologise for any inconvenience.
