I have our purchased this skirt in 2 different colours. Lovely fit, beautiful drape and pleating. Best of all, both were in the sale so that was a bonus .
Lovely skirt, apart from it has been caught up and sewn to the waistband in 4 places, meaning that it hangs unevenly and bunches up in places.
Looking at past reviews it seems they have all been poorly made like this. Unwearable, unless I spend time unpicking and resewing. Very annoying when I now have to spend time returning it when it must be clear to you from reviews that the majority are faulty. In fact it can be clearly seen it is faulty at first glance. Why have you not removed these from sale?
The skirt itself would have been beautiful but unfortunately the skirt had been sewn to the top of the waistba in four places . I had bought a previous one and had painstakingly unpicked the bits that had been over sown and like the skirt so much I thought I’d buy another as a spare but as said before I wasn’t prepared to do it again, pity as it is lovely and moves well but it is I would say more maxi than midi. I’m 5ft 3 and it was touching my ankles .These garments were obviously not checked before leaving the factory as many people have had the same fault ,
I bought this for a party and the skirt is lovely but as other people have mentioned the elastic waist band is double stitched to the skirt. It works better if you fold the waist band inside.
I am so conflicted over this skirt! Hence the 3 stars. I bought 2 sizes - my usual size fit fine, the material is lovely and it hangs abs swishes beautifully. BUT…. as other reviews state the waste band stitching is bonkers . One skirt has the elastic stitched over at both sides so that it has to be turned in with no band (plus a small catching of material ) - the other size has the elastic waistband free and showing but a sizeable chunk of skirt material caught in stitching. I can’t decide whether to try and fix the skirt with the smaller problem or return both. It’s such a shame as the skirt otherwise is absolutely lovely! Please sort your quality control out TU.
Lovely skirt & material. Problem is stitching has caught the skirt where it joins the waistband on. Didn't notice until I went to wear it. Disappointed that QC didn't pick this up
