Hi Mrs Doubtfire,

Thanks for your query about the Dark Denim Straight Leg Jeans 12S.

Size 12 is a 79cm / 31 inch waist
Size 14 is an 84cm / 33 inch waist.

As to which is the better option for you, to a degree that's down to personal preference on fit. A size 14 would probably be a bit looser and the 12 perhaps a bit tighter.
