Third year buying these from TU. They have always lasted the full school year wash well dry quickly. Elasticated waist can be easily adjusted 10/10
Really like the design of these trousers. They are dark grey with pockets on each leg and leg style is straight. They look really smart and hopefully will prove durable!
As sizes go I found this age group longer in the leg for my son. And he is tall for his age. Not a problem though. He soon grew in to them.. these school pants are always a good buy
If your child likes to run around and gets a bit messy or falls over a lot at school then avoid these trousers! They are paper thin and definitely wouldn't keep my son warm in cold weather. They appear to run small as age 5 trousers only just fit my 4 year old on the loose setting for the elasticated waist.
Bought age 5-6 for my son who's just turned 6. He is slim build so we have the adjustable waistband on almost the tightest setting. Have had trouble getting him to transition from wearing jogging bottoms to school as he gets worried about buttons, but these are perfect for him. No buttons, adjustable waist and a good length too - lots of age 5-6 are getting too short for him now. It was the combat style that won him over though! They have washed and tumble dried well so far with no need to iron.
I always come to sainsburys for my kids school clothes as they are a perfect fit and true to size they wash perfect not like other brands would definitely recommend
