About this product

Rare brown Machu Pichu F1 chillies produce a smoky, medium-hot flavour on compact plants around 80–90 cm (32–36 in) tall. Fruits set early and abundantly from July through October and dry well to intensify flavour. Sow seeds in a warm, bright spot from February–April: use 9 cm pots, place three seeds 0.5 cm deep, keep compost damp but not waterlogged and aim for about 18°C until germination. Pot on as seedlings develop, harden off for 7–14 days before transplanting, then plant 1 cm deep with 30 cm spacing between plants and rows.
