Seemed faulty, returned.
The entire thing smelt like burning wires, and the smell was worse when plugged in. On closer inspection, the charger was the source of the burning smell. Returned and got just the batteries instead to use with another brand charger.

Yes this charger will charge NiMH AA 600mAh Batteries.
It does come with 4 x 2000mAh AA batteries included, but will charge other mAh levels.
The charging time will vary depending on the level.

This battery charger can only be used on the mains, with a 3 pin plug. It isn't suitable to be charged using the 12v cigarette socket.
