About this product
The Jesse Toddler Bed makes the move from cot to first bed feel manageable and secure for little ones. It's designed for toddlers from 18 months, with guard rails on both sides that help prevent rolls during the night. The solid wood frame with white finish stands up to daily use and fits in with most bedroom colours. There's a large storage drawer underneath that slides out for toys, bedding or spare clothes, keeping the bedroom floor clear.
The drawer has plenty of space and rolls smoothly on its runners, so you can access it easily without lifting the bed. Wooden slats are included to support the mattress. The guard rails sit 31 centimetres high, giving reassurance without making it difficult for your child to climb in and out independently. It's part of the Jesse collection, so you can match it with other furniture if you're updating the whole room. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings included.

Nice & solid, useful drawer
Very happy with it, feels solid. The drawer is very spacious & a lifesaver in a small house. Not sure the little guard rails are that helpful at keeping in a toddler who is new to a big bed & they’re in the way if you’re trying to snuggle up for a story. They help keep the cuddly toys in though!

Beautiful sturdy toddler bed!
Really lovely toddler bed, a ton of storage underneath and a perfect size for my two year old! Worth noting that the railing doesn't do very much to keep him inside of the bed, and we will have to purchase a bed guard to stop him falling out. I'm so happy with the bed otherwise that it doesn't matter to us!

Easy to build. Looks lovely only thing is some bits of packaging is still stuck on the wooden planks and we can’t get it off

Wood has snapped
The bed frame is flimsy. My daughter, who is 2 years old and very petite, was jumping on it and the wood snapped. It’s only been a month since purchase, and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a wooden bed again.

"The only MDF component is the under-bed storage drawer (the trundle/drawer). The MDF is used on the drawer’s side panels, back panel and front panels.
Regarding your question about chemicals: it does not contain formaldehyde or harmful glues."
