lightweight yet robust
I've used this to get quite thick branches of a Leyland cypress. Gets through about 8 to 10 centimetres. Chain does need tightening from time to time but it is pretty easy to do. It's lightweight so you can do things at maximum reach. What is said about slight leak from the oil reservoir is tight but it's not much. Overall I think it's good

Disappointed not up to Spear + Jackson standarfs
Bought this to cut back a couple of trees before they became unmanageable. The reach is poor so had to use steps The balance is all wrong and it’s heavy I really struggled to hold it I am in my late sixties which doesn’t help finally I wouldn’t recommend this product. I have 3 other S+J products which I’ve had for several years and I find them excellent but very disappointed with this product

Great purchase
I found this pole saw is very easy to use. I am a 66 year old female & managed it very easily. I especially like that it is self oiling. I had read all the reviews & noticed that some people said the oil tank leaks when not in use. I found that happened with me too but as I was warned, I covered it in paper towel which saved any mess. Great product & I would highly recommend it.

Not good
Used it for around half an hour and the chain came off, I tried to put it back on but it was impossible. Returned it to the store and got a full refund.

Its ok but not the greatest
Used to petrol one of these so still getting to grips with it. Pole saw head isn't adjustable and cant be angled differently. Battery life could be better however went through quite thick branches with ease. Chain does need tightening quite often
