About this product
The Habitat Nico Single Bed Frame gives your child a comfy, stable place to sleep that handles bedtime stories, Saturday lounging, and some bouncing. Its two-tone bright white and natural pine design blends with most bedroom colours and styles. A large curved headboard adds character, while solid wood legs keep it stable and supportive. Weight tested to 100kg, it's built to last as they grow. Sprung wooden slats support the mattress and improve airflow underneath. Suitable for ages four and over, it will see them through childhood.
The frame combines solid wood and a smooth finish that wipes clean after sticky fingers or everyday marks. It comes with a Habitat medium feel mattress that's got 126 open coil springs for support through the night. The mattress is anti-allergy and you don't need to turn it, just rotate it now and then to even out wear. Wall-mounting brackets aren't mentioned, so make sure it's positioned safely away from climbing temptations. Self-assembly required, two people recommended, all fixings provided. Comes with a one-year guarantee for peace of mind.

The headboard is a structural part of the bed’s frame so the frame should be able to hold it without it needing to be wedged up against a wall. However, having its headboard end against a wall would perhaps visually look better and also could perhaps provide some extra support though the use of it, if being used in the manner for which it is designed, does not require there to be a wall there.
