About this product
The Jakob Double TV Bed Frame provides a place to relax and watch without a separate TV stand. Upholstered in soft grey fabric with a Scandi-inspired silhouette, it features an electric TV lift at the foot supporting screens up to 43 inches. A button smoothly raises the TV when needed. The slanted headboard hides wood-effect shelves for books, remotes or cables. Below, a side-opening ottoman base provides 775 litres of storage for bedding or clothes and can open from left or right to suit your room.
The base uses sprung wooden slats for even mattress support. Plastic feet lift the frame slightly off the floor, allowing 0.5 cm space for airflow. Space underneath fits your satellite box, DVD player, or home cinema equipment, keeping cables out of sight. The TV mount is VESA compatible with 100x100, 200x100 and 200x200 spacing to fit most screens. Powered by mains electricity, the lifting mechanism supports a maximum user weight of 220 kilogrammes. The bed arrives flat-packed in four parcels; assembly by two people is recommended. A one-year manufacturer's guarantee is included.
But to top all that off, there's a place for your TV (up to 43") hidden away in the foot end, that has an electric lifting mechanism for a smart automated TV watching experience. Simply install your TV, and position your satellite box, DVD player or home cinema tech in the slot underneath the bed, connect everything up, and hey presto. You're good to go.

Nice but could have been better.
Had a stained headboard and two chunks out of the tv board cover. Suspect this was a return and resent out as it was for the sale price. Had to pay for build so just kept it. Area where boxes would go is huge and open to the inside storage. You cannot store items to the edge of the bed as when you lift it the frame comes in However, nice material and hood headboard storage. Instructions to build are not the best. Watch out fur the two pieces if ‘stray wood’ they are for the side gas lifts but instructions don’t mention these. Had the Jakob bottom lift before purchasing this which was much better.

Nice bed
Comfortable bed with plenty of storage. Easily put together with no problems. Only 2 slight niggles, the tv bracket leans a little to the right so tv isn’t exactly square on. Also the top does not come down when the tv is retracted. It did for the first two days but not anymore. It slams shut once the mechanism stops. I’m trying to remedy this by strategically sticking Velcro in various places where the frame meets the lid.

The instructions were difficult to follow , synchronising the tv motor with the controller was not explained properly. Once the bed was put together the end result was ok.

Sturdy, Solid Bed with great storage
Would recommend this bed to anyone. A really solid, well built bed with great storage. Looks very chic. Assembly was relatively easy - 18 year old son put it together with very little help. The storage in the head board is a bonus.

I brought a 43 inch tv and it does not fit onto the bracket. The bracket in the bed is to small so it doesnt line up with the holes on the tv to screw it in.
