Light bulb rather visible.
I really wanted to love this lamp but sadly the light bulb was so visible because the shade is very small. We wanted it low down on a coffee table where it isn’t looked like a naked bulb shining in our eyes. I think this lap would be better higher up like on the top of a cupboard where you can’t see the bulb. The shade is lovely corduroy in a great shade of orange.

Awesome MCM aesthetic
Bought this lamp to complement the smaller "corduroy" effect one. The Mid Century Modern aesthetic is really good. The mustard colour is good, and the fact that it's real fabric on the shade is even better. A cinch to put together. The ES (E27) screw fitting gives lots of options, and I think this looks better with a bigger-than-normal bulb. I'd definitely recommend using a bulb that shows some design itself, perhaps a filament or silvered top one.

It's very Wide
The lamp looked really nice and of good quality. However it was very low and wide, which meant that when positioned on a bedside table you do not see the side view shown in the catalogue but more of a helicopter view, so you see mainly the innards. So it did not have the look we were looking for, and we returned it, which was very straight forwards

Mustard and walnut lamp
Buzzes constantly when switched on. Goes off and on ( flickers) can’t even use it. Expensive ornament. Would love if customer support would contact me, as the lamp is exactly what I needed looks wise.

The shade colour is mustard, and the shade colour does not change when the light is on (assuming that the bulb you use is not a coloured one of course, where the colour of the bulb may then affect how it appears).
